Issue: # 3 September 2008
Try our New Family Night, enjoy Yoga with your kids! (pre-registration is required)

Greetings!

This is an exciting time of year again, when the days are shorter, the kids return to school, a time for renewal and rejuvenation. Cool weather will soon be upon us, including fall activities such as football, cheerleading, as well as the typical stream of wonderful holidays.

At Hot Yoga & Massage we are maintaining steady growth and excitement, thanks to the regular attendance of friends who share our common wellness goals.  We have even more classes planned for the fall.  With summer coming to a close we are offering a new class:

FAMILY NIGHT, EVERY SATURDAY

Starting September 6, 2008 our new Family classes will teach parents and kids how to be a good yogi using the 8 limb path. For example:

  • Santosha means contentment-how to be happy with the things we have.
  • Tapas means self-discipline and patients.

I have been eager to start this style of classes. Being a parent of 3 kids myself, I know the challenges and rewards of maximum synergy, with an emphasis on interaction and sharing. These interactive classes also teach kindness and nonviolence. The room will be Warm, not Hot.  These Family classes will contribute to maximized synergy with parent/kid bonding, as well as enhanced mind-body coordination through continuous movement.

The Family classes will be Saturday nights 4-5 pm, and we encourage kids 3-13 to give us a try. Parents will be regular price, and kids are $7, or get a 5 class-pass for $25.
Prepare Your Mind and Body
