Starting January 17th, 2009 our Family classes will resume every Saturday from 4-5pm. Family Night is designed to teach parents and kids how to be a good yogi using the 8-limb path. For example:
Santosha means contentment-how to be happy with the things we have.
Tapas means self-discipline and patience.
I have been eager to start this style of classes. Being a parent of 3 kids myself, I know the challenges and rewards of maximum synergy, with an emphasis on interaction and sharing. These interactive classes also teach kindness and nonviolence. The room will be Warm, not Hot. These Family classes will contribute to maximized synergy with parent/kid bonding, as well as enhanced mind-body coordination through continuous movement.
The Family classes will be Saturday nights 4-5 pm, and we encourage kids 3-13 to give us a try. The cost is $35 per person for the 4-week course.
